GOD IS ABLE - Story & Devotional

‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭NIV‬

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 

GOD IS ABLE

I look back to January 2018 and I can remember sobbing 😭 on the side of my bed, crying out to the Lord.

I felt like my husband and I were stuck. We were in an elongated financial battle and it felt like there was nothing more we could do. We were in a new year and all I could see was more of the same - and I was not ready for that!

HAVING ALL THAT YOU NEED

My husband and I were receiving government help and still going to the local food pantries just to make ends meet. We did what we needed to do and we did not miss any meals. God blessed us with what we needed. Our bills were paid and we could not figure out HOW 🤷🏾‍♀️. The numbers never added up. 

YOU WILL ABOUND 

Here we are in 2023. WE MADE IT!! And so did you! God has blessed us and continues to bless us - in all things at all times - We put our faith back in Jesus, and not our jobs. We trusted God. October 2022, we were finally free of any government help or needing to go to the food pantry. 

HERE'S WHAT I LEARNED: 

God can bless you at any time! And the way God chooses to meet your every need may not look the way you want it to look. But God's promise is to ALWAYS take good care of you. So what if Jesus decides to use the government to bless you, or friends & family, or odd jobs. GOD OWNS EVERYTHING and does not leave us behind. 

We are joint heirs with Christ Jesus and we will always be blessed in every good work. Amen.

PRAYER

 

GOD YOU ARE ABLE. Your word tells me so. I have hope in you. I trust in you. Thank you, Jesus, for blessing me. Please forgive me for ever complaining about how you choose to bless me. I know you will always take good care of me because I am a child of God. I am an heir with you Jesus. Thank you for that. Amen
